Paon shawl by Kerri Milani ( pattern is available here), was among these projects that I had in mind for a little while, without having the time to start knitting it.
And then, knitting a project to another, came the time when I needed a challenge, and stimulate myself (and be proud of it), just like my previous peacock shawl.
My shawl collection are starting to be a bit ruined and old, after so many times wearing them and carrying them around, and this paon shawl was THE project to knit these days. Quite easy to knit, it has perfect sizing to be wear on my shoulder, with a little black dress at a party 🙂
To knit it, I chose some hand-dyed yarn, color “Carbone” in fingering size. I used 2 and half skeins for this knitting project. 100g / 425m (by skein), and needles 3mm.
For once, I didn’t take any photos of it while knitting it… NOT A SINGLE ONE 🙂
So here is my paon shawl knitted. Much thiner than my peacock shawl, of coure, for the photos, it was a bit tougher, but a different style 🙂
Are you ready to knit it ?
